To automate branch accounting, take the following steps.
When you have taken these steps, your branches will be fully under your control. Whenever you enter any transaction or master record it will become available at the branches within seconds. Whenever anyone enters any transaction at any of the branches it will be transmitted and integrated with the head office data automatically and without any human command within seconds.

What is branch accounting?
If your company has more than one branch or site or warehouse, accounting for all those branches from the head office, is called branch accounting. Our software automates this process completely. Saving you lots of manual labor in controlling your branches from your head office.
Know exactly what is available at what branches. Keep a close watch on valuable items through perpetual inventory counting to reduce shrinkage. Most people stop using their accounting software for inventory purposes after some time. However in this software inventory is very closely linked to accounting because it uses perpetual inventory accounting instead of periodic accounting, thus any inventory discrepancies are immediately reflected in accounting. That is you can't arbitrarily add or remove inventory like in other software. You must debit or credit some other account like shrinkage for an equal amount, if you debit or credit inventory accounts.
Know the gross and net profit of every branch. Know the gross profit given by every customer, by every item for any period. Know your gross profit margin for every sale. Gross profit fields are visible only to administrators. Keeping a close watch on the gross profit of every invoice will help you increase it, and will help you identify unprofitable items or customers or branches.
When two or more computers are connected in a network, the main computer(s) on which the database is stored is called the server and the other computers are called clients or users.
